## *Dear readers,*

After several years, many travels, a creative reorientation, and countless experiences, I am very happy to welcome you to my artist page. A new chapter in my artistic journey begins here. I have come a long way—with a lot of work and preparation, wonderful encounters, but also setbacks and hardships.

**I spent several years traveling to explore new paths, gain experiences, grow personally, and discover what actually connects us as human beings.**

Above all, I was searching for my place in the world and a place I could call home. In the process, I came to realize something crucial: You can travel the entire world, only to end up arriving back at yourself. Much of what we seek outside ourselves, we ultimately find within ourselves.

Home is where we arrive at our true selves, feel safe, and reconnect

A connection to ourselves, to other people, to nature, and to this greater whole of which we are a part. In any case, the big questions of life have never let me go:

Why are we here?

What is the meaning of life?

Where does life’s journey lead?

These questions led me not only to art but also to the natural sciences and on a journey that spanned many years.

![20231116\_100307](https://www.pullmann-art.com/hs-fs/hubfs/20231116_100307.jpg?width=2000&height=1125&name=20231116_100307.jpg "20231116_100307")

I wanted to discover Germany, explore new paths, grow as a person, and find out where I belong in this wonderful country. I wanted to leave old and familiar systems and structures behind, have new experiences, and find a place I could call home.

In the process, I had to learn to let go, face my fears, and, in some cases, break away from old relationships and ties. And at some point, I came to realize something crucial:

I could travel the whole world, only to end up back with myself in the end.

![IMG\_20240804\_104538\_473 (2)](https://www.pullmann-art.com/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_20240804_104538_473%20(2).jpg?width=2000&height=2000&name=IMG_20240804_104538_473%20(2).jpg "IMG_20240804_104538_473 (2)")

Today, “home” means more to me than just a place.

Home is when we reconnect with ourselves and feel a deep sense of connection to life. To ourselves, to other people, to nature, and to this greater whole of which we are a part.

## THE BIG QUESTIONS

*What is existence?
What is the meaning of life?
Why are we here?

Why does anything exist at all?
What came before, and what comes after?*

These questions have accompanied me my whole life. Perhaps that has always been my greatest artistic project:

“To get closer to the meaning of life.”

I sought answers in the outside world; I traveled, read, met people, gained experiences, and explored a wide variety of perspectives..

But at some point, I realized that the great mystery might be much closer than we think.

Perhaps part of what we’re looking for is already within each of us—in places we’d least expect.

Art is my field of exploration, allowing me to continue devoting myself to these fundamental questions of creation and to discover what defines us as human beings.

# A NEW CHAPTER IN MY PAINTING:

## Homemade paints and a renewed connection to nature

![file\_0000000081908210a040d9d2edbaa496](https://www.pullmann-art.com/hs-fs/hubfs/file_0000000081908210a040d9d2edbaa496.png?width=1448&height=1086&name=file_0000000081908210a040d9d2edbaa496.png "file_0000000081908210a040d9d2edbaa496")

Even before I set out on my travels two years ago, one question had been occupying my mind more and more as I painted:

**Just how environmentally friendly are the paints I work with?**

I didn’t feel good about many industrially manufactured paints, especially when I had to wash my brushes with water after painting. It became increasingly clear to me that I wanted to find a different approach.

![file\_00000000db80820aa891bd97ada0bc50](https://www.pullmann-art.com/hs-fs/hubfs/file_00000000db80820aa891bd97ada0bc50.png?width=1448&height=1086&name=file_00000000db80820aa891bd97ada0bc50.png "file_00000000db80820aa891bd97ada0bc50")

During my travels, I eventually began to explore traditional painting techniques and the process of making my own paints in greater depth. In doing so, I rediscovered something that artists had been using for centuries: natural pigments and egg tempera.

“Handcrafted using natural pigments and traditional binders, following the historical example of the Old Masters”

Today, I venture out into nature myself, extract some of my pigments from natural materials, and use them to make my own paints. In doing so, I combine old techniques with my own contemporary painting style.

It was precisely the unique properties of these homemade paints that opened up entirely new possibilities for me. Natural pigments behave differently from industrially produced paints. They can be coarser, possess their own textures, and have a character all their own.

What began as a challenge thus evolved into a new technique and a new way of painting.

Real gold will also play a greater role in my art in the future, as it possesses a magical quality all its own.

![20260927\_132311](https://www.pullmann-art.com/hs-fs/hubfs/20260927_132311.jpg?width=2000&height=1500&name=20260927_132311.jpg "20260927_132311")

For me, this marks the beginning of a new chapter in my art: a return to traditional materials and old painting techniques—combined with my own artistic development and an even closer connection to nature.

To me, it feels like a true reconnection—with nature, with traditional painting, and at the same time with something completely new in my own art.

I invite you to follow along as I explore this new chapter in my painting.

FROM MUSIC TO PAINTING

Music has been a part of my life for many, many years, and I’ve always found it fascinating what sounds and melodies can evoke in us as human beings.

How they lift us up, touch us deep inside—and all of this simply through frequencies in the air, through simple vibrations that trigger emotions deep within us, bring us joy, and can sometimes even heal a troubled soul.

For many years, I was a songwriter, musician, and guitarist. Essentially, I mostly made music for myself, as a way to express myself. Of course, it was just as special to make music with other people, to come together, and to connect with one another through this medium—this wordless language.

I find it fascinating that something like this is possible, and for me, music is one of the most wonderful things humanity has ever created.

For me, too, music has always been something that helped me, kept me going, and brought me comfort and joy—especially during difficult times

I think music is such a unique medium in the world. At the same time, I’ve always asked myself: Why? Why are sounds the ones that have accompanied humanity for so long and perhaps even brought us to where we are today—intellectually and spiritually?

![mike-TB-NEU3](https://www.pullmann-art.com/hs-fs/hubfs/mike-TB-NEU3.png?width=2000&height=2000&name=mike-TB-NEU3.png "mike-TB-NEU3")

![Modernes Wohnzimmer mit abstraktem Diptychon](https://www.pullmann-art.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Modernes%20Wohnzimmer%20mit%20abstraktem%20Diptychon.png?width=1675&height=939&name=Modernes%20Wohnzimmer%20mit%20abstraktem%20Diptychon.png "Modernes Wohnzimmer mit abstraktem Diptychon")

I’ve always had this desire to achieve the same thing through art—to move people in a similar way through a painting. Perhaps that’s how frequency painting emerged, subconsciously and unintentionally.

All I know is this: When I painted my first large frequency painting in early 2020 and hung it in my living room, I sat in front of it for weeks and couldn’t tear myself away. It was almost like a meditative state I entered whenever I looked at the painting and tried to sense it, to feel it. I had an incredible sense of shelter and the feeling of having found a home..

One of the most beautiful moments was when Daniel, one of my clients, told me that the artwork I had painted for him was like music to him—that it simply moved him in that way. He had never experienced that with art before.

That was one of the most wonderful things anyone has ever said to me about my art. I’m very grateful for that, partly because it helped me answer a big question I’d been asking myself:

Yes, art can move you just like music. I hope I can continue to share this feeling with many more people.

International Peace Work

For many years, I have been involved in international peace work, both with the Family Aid Organization and in efforts to strengthen international relations across all countries and cultures.
.
The grand vision: We, as human beings, want peace, not war

I was on a Christian mission and had what was perhaps my greatest spiritual experience there—an experience of awakening and revival. Through this experience, I eventually became involved in the peace movement to shed light on political conflicts and do my part to ensure that we can live in international peace on Earth.

There, I was also active in filmmaking and, as a musician, had the opportunity to perform on stages around the world in front of audiences of many thousands. I met wonderful people and am very grateful for that time and for everything I was able to learn there.

In 2021, I decided to forge my own path and continue spreading positive values throughout the world, with my art at the center.

If you’d like, you can get a glimpse of my work in the peace movement as a musician and my subsequent career as a painter in the showreel I’ve included right below.

# WHY I PAINT

I’m interested in the moment when a work of art ceases to be merely an object and becomes a tangible, sensory experience. A work of art can make our bodies and minds pause.

Perhaps, for a moment, our breathing changes. Our thoughts grow quieter. The next appointment, the next message, or the next task briefly loses its significance.

We don’t have to do anything. We can simply perceive.

Our days are filled with information, decisions, news, and possibilities. Almost everything demands our attention.

“But not everything that demands our attention actually deserves it.”

That is why my art seeks to create spaces where we can step away from this demanding daily life for a moment. Perhaps also as a quiet reminder:

It’s not about escaping from life, but about listening more deeply within ourselves again and reconnecting with it.

Art as a space for awareness,

silence,

beauty,

and connection.

Come back to yourself

and feel yourself again

## HUMAN. NATURE. COSMOS.

We often view nature as something that surrounds us, yet we ourselves are a part of it.

In my art, I therefore explore the connection between our inner world and the world around us—between humanity and nature, between energy and perception, between consciousness and the great questions of our existence...and ultimately, the cosmos.

When I look up at the starry sky, it reminds me of how incomprehensibly vast life is and how small our everyday worries sometimes seem in comparison.

We do not live in isolation. We are part of nature, of the Earth, and of a cosmos whose dimensions we can scarcely comprehend.

For me, there is something comforting and, at the same time, something magnificent in this.

**We are not separate.
We are part of a greater whole.**
*THE SYMPHONY OF LIFE*

## MY VISUAL LANGUAGE

My works emerge from an interplay of intuition and conscious design. Colors, shapes, rhythms, and symbolic structures come together with various materials and painting techniques.

Among other things, I work with natural pigments: egg tempera and pigments, various layered textures, mixed media, natural pigments, and gold leaf.

I am particularly interested in the interplay between visible and invisible realities. Some forms are created deliberately, while others develop intuitively during the painting process. Much like in music, a composition emerges organically. Sometimes there is a clear idea at the beginning. Sometimes it all begins with just a color, a mood, or a feeling. I don’t try to control everything. It’s about letting go and freeing the mind.

I want to give the work the opportunity to develop during the creative process and find its own character—its own “sound.”

## MY JOURNEY AS AN ARTIST—My Greatest Art Project

My path to art was not a straight one. Various educational backgrounds, professional experiences, music, travel, and my engagement with technical, social, and philosophical questions have shaped my view of the world. Over many years, I’ve explored different paths, discovered new places, and asked myself time and again what I actually want to achieve with my work

Today I know that all these experiences have become part of my art.

My travels.

My music.

My search for home.

The people I’ve had the privilege of meeting and those who have taught me about disappointment.

My fascination with nature, humanity, and the origin of the universe.

And the big questions that may never be answered.

# ARRIVAL

My art emerged from a search—a search for home.

The question: “What is love and connection—this invisible force and the meaning behind it all?” I am convinced that what we have been searching for so long in the outside world is much closer than we think.

Home begins where we arrive back at ourselves.

We are not separate. We are part of a greater whole. Standing with both feet firmly planted in life, yet still seeing the sky.

It has taken time, but the great turning point is beginning to gain momentum. Today, I see more and more people striving for truth and for this NEW SPIRITUALITY. Right now, we stand on the threshold of a new era. Secret knowledge is coming to light once more. The laws of physics and reality are being redefined. Everything in the cosmos is interconnected, and the boundaries between spirituality and matter exist only in our minds. Free your spirit and gaze into a new world of possibilities.

My art is a symbol and a guide for this transformation, which begins deep within each of us and within you.

“For a little more ease along your way.”
